Sunday, 30 July, 2006: Shock as Wells lift Courier Cup
Tonbridge Angels were beaten in the Courier Cup for the first time since its inception after losing 4-2 to Tunbridge Wells at Culverden Down. A Nick Barnes penalty gave the Angels an early lead which was held until half-time, but the hosts blitzed their opponents with four second half goals to seal victory. Jon Main hit a late consolation.

The Angels came away from their first pre-season friendly with a 2-1 win over Division One South side Ashford Town. Goalscorers were Luke Piscina and Ray Powell.
