| Sunday, 26 March, 2006: Early lead squandered as Angels lose |
An excellent first-half performance was not enough for victory yesterday against Croydon Athletic. Goals from Ray Powell and an inspired Danny Glozier gave the Angels a 2-1 lead heading into half-time. But in first-half injury time Glozier saw a red card for two bookable offences and the hosts capitalised after the break to take the game 3-2.
In other first team news, Danny Ward has left the club to join Kingstonian, for travel reasons, and Danny Lye was unavailable for the match yesterday after his partner gave birth on Friday night. Lye is expected to be in the squad for Tuesday's trip to Whyteleafe.
Meanwhile the Reserves continued their extraordinary run of having won every match contested in 2006, beating Merstham 4-0 with goals from John Sinclair (2), Manny Neville and Danny Powell.

| Sunday, 19 March, 2006: Dream return inspires Angels win |
Luke Piscina made a dream comeback from the substitutes bench to inspire three goals within 15 minutes and send the Angels into 4th place in Ryman League Division One.
Piscina replaced Sodje late in the first half and immediately set up a goal for Wade Falana, before creating Falana's second and scoring a stunning third just after the restart. The result moves the Angels above Tooting & Mitcham before next Saturday's trip to Croydon Athletic.
