Angels Rule (but not at the moment)

« on: Thursday, 11 March, 2010, 12:53.21 »

New thread started only because the original is locked .....

92   DARTFORD
----------------------
75   SUTTON
74   AVELEY
69   WEALDSTONE
66   KINGSTONIAN
----------------------
66   CANVEY ISL
65   HASTINGS
65   TONBRIDGE
62   HORSHAM
60   HARROW
57   HORNCHURCH
57   BOREHAM WOOD
56   WALTHAM ABBEY
56   BILLERICAY
55   CRAY
53   HENDON
53   MAIDSTONE
52   TOOTING & MITCHAM
-----------------------------
47   ASHFORD (MX)
47   BOGNOR REGIS
41   CARSHALTON
34   MARGATE

Can't see Aveley in the Play-Offs or Ashford being relegated. Hastings would be pretty miffed if they miss out after being in the play-offs for most of the season. I expect Cray or Waltham Abbey to go down, although it's good to see Maidstone slipping into the danger zone - but then where were we just a few short weeks ago?

Great discussion point though, Kentishman - look forward to its regular updating

Original thread still blocked but what a great discussion point. Especially as the Ryman Premier must be the only league in the country with more away wins than homes. So much for home advantage! However I think it a little optimistic to base predictions on the final table when Angels are top of the form table. On the basis that form is only temporary etc. I have based mine on teams actual results over the season, both home and away and surprisingly the only differences that count are that I have Canvey to finish in the play offs rather than Aveley(please prove me wrong tomorrow) and that Waltham will finish in the bottom four rather than Ashford.

Dartford 97/Sutton 72, Wealdstone 70,Kingstonian 70,Canvey Island 62/
Boreham Wood 62,Hastings 61,Horsham 60,Aveley 59,Harrow 58,Tooting 58,
Hornchurch 57,Angels 55,Ashford 54,Hendon 53,Stones 51,Billericay 50,Cray 50/
Carshalton 46,Bognor 43, Waltham42,Margate 40.

I would expect Carshalton to be saved from relegation and possibly Bognor as well due to defections at this level and above.
