Tommy must stay.  We are very lucky to have him.

No-one in their right mind can be happy with the way the results have been going recently, but hopefully tonight will be the turning point.

In any event I am glad that the Club officials have taken a long term view.  It is all too easy to think that sacking the manager is the answer.  A couple of wins would make the overall picture look very different.  Chopping and changing management is no good to anyone IMO.

Come on, you Angels!

Well said KB.
100% Tommy is the right man.
Thank god we have a fighter like him in charge, a lesser man would have taken the easy way out and gone.
He will learn from this and be stronger, watch out all ye of little faith.

I cant believe any angels would want to see the back of him, i bet they thought he was the mutts nuts when we reached playoffs but the first sign of trouble he,s the devils armpit, stuff that. Tommy Warrilows blue and white army. COYA

On balance, I have voted to keep to retain Tommy Warrilow as the Manager of the Angels.   This is not an ideal time to change the Manager as such a change could result in a complete upheaval of the Club and we have had enough upheaval in this area so far this season.

In my opinion, the fundamental problem appears to be that Tommy is unwilling to play the young players in the squad and, at the end of the day, they are the future of the Club.

Inevitably, this will result in these young players leaving the Club and we will be forced into signing "big name" players who, in numerous cases, have under-performed this season.

The make-up of the team, ideally, would be achieved by playing a combination of experienced and promising young players and, consequently, other young players would then be encouraged to join the Angels if they see a radical change in the recruitment policy of the Club..

yes
and if we get relegated because the young players can't cope, you'd be happy then. You need 11 players to have a reserve side, they don't all have to be any good , you just need 8 donkeys , to give the chance for your 3 gems to develop. If you take your 3 gems , stick them into a losing side, and then say they are not good enough where does that leave you. You hope you find another john beales , but more often than not you end up with wayne balmer, or the fuller brothers. or martin grant , remember him
