Looking at the League table stats, we have played one game more than them in the league. They have scored just one goal more than us, but we have conceded almost half of what they have.

The final whistle blew. And we have crashed out of the league cup.

I'm glad to hear that Adam O'Neil when he came on played very well and looked more and more dangerous. If only he came on sooner............. Sad

Despite a fringe/reshuffled line-up we didn't disgrace ourselves against a team that should make the play-offs this year. Their pacey forward Gavin Grant caused us plenty of problems in a fairly incident-free first half.

Second half was very enjoyable and we gave debuts to youngsters Adam O'Neill (forward) and Lee Kennett (left-back) who both acquitted themselves well. O'Neill in particular looked very comfortable on the ball and is definitely one to watch this season.

Craig Roser moved to centre-midfield (his best position IMHO) and was excellent, great stuff Bert!

Attendance was 224.

IMHO i was very disappointed with the result and felt with the squad the angels put out should have one.
