Thanks for making the long trip up on Saturday, its obviously disappointing when your team loses, but there was certainly no disgrace in the Angels performance and they were very well supported. Go on and help your lads win the league now, I'm pretty certain that you've got a team there that can do the job. All the best for a successful season!!

Nice city .... enjoyable game ... (could have been a better result for us, perhaps).
We wish you all the best in the Cup and your league.

Thanks brooksider for your comments, our team didn't play as well as they can, and you deserved the win,. I must confess that I was the old woman who mentioned relegation to a couple of gloating old men who were passing as your third goal went in, and made derogatory comments about our team, but it was all light hearted banter really, and I hope you have a succesful season. We enjoyed our weekend in Worcester, and thanks to Andy Bullock who we met in your bar, for his advice on best restaurants etc.

I thought the "relegation" remarks were quite funny actually, I think I turned around and said "five grand" To be honest I'll worry about the relegation thing come February, if we're where we are now come Feb, I'll be aworried man - you chaps know the feeling only too well! Those old blokes don't know the meaning of light hearted banter, they are famed "Brookside" moaners, not a word of a lie we beat Moor Green 4-0 a couple of seasons back and they came passed where you were standing and said to each other "absolute bloody rubbish!" Andy Bullock is a very decent guy, understands non-league backwards, and the issues that all us non-league nutters and our clubs have to face. Its hard work supporting the likes of City and Angels, but we do it cos we love it, so a bit of pre-match, match day and post match banter is all good stuff. And you'll get promoted this year, there's enough in your squad, with good team spirit to get into the Ryman Premier without doubt. Just looking at the photos in the gallery, how did Leroy miss that one from 6 yards out? It looks worse for me in that photo than it did the other end of the ground!!!

Well said FulhamAngel. Don't get me started on the over-priced Premiership!
As for Worcester, the chaps from the FC that came onto our forum - Brooksider and Worcester Fan especially, and to Gobby Cow that took a good look and understands about Danny Lye , very social and informative.
Just in case anyone is planning a trip to that city, my kids were insistant on eating Chinese one night. We were staying in Friar Street, the oldest street in the city, at Ye Olde Talbot Hotel (very good and it had the blessing of Worcester Fan - fanx ). We stumbled across The Angel Cafe a few streets or so away. One of those buffet style Chinese Restaurants, it went down very well!
Well, thanks again to Worcester, our paths will probably cross some time again in the very distant future............

Just a quick wish for you Angels fans that you get back to winning ways in the League on Saturday. Great set of fans you have there, and hoping this season comes up trumps for you. Very pleased to hear that most of you enjoyed your trip to Worcester, and that those of you who stayed overnight found the City a pleasant place to visit.
You'll have seen that we've got Accrington Stanley away next round - the boot is on the other foot for us this time round! Of course, we'll go there dreaming of a shock, just like you did coing to us.
Maybe you can come and visit us again in the FA Trophy?
Whatever, go well!
