berby did the right thing, man utd are bigger than city and spurs put together
why shouldn't he get the right to play for a proper team, rather than mid table dirge
and spurs now have 30 million to spunk up the wall on average foreign nobody's
plus they got that campbell thing , to warm their bench

The whole Berbatov/ManUre saga has been a masterclass in press manipulation by ManUre and Berbatov's agent. Since early May they've been drip feeding the gutter tabloids rumour and lies to engineer his eventual move away from Spurs. I'm glad that Spurs turned down the initial offer of £25m and that ManUre have had to pay £5m more plus a makeweight. Of course Berbatov can play for ManUre if he wants to, it's just the way it has happened that stinks.

Pity we have to wait until mid-December for Spurs v Man Utd.

Could be interesting.

This was the point I was trying to make, but manurefan Gazza jumped on the defensive and failed to understand the meaning of the phrases "on contract" and "tapping up".  Roll Eyes

Spurts can hardly complain, they were spotted tapping up their current manager about a year ago, like most biters bitten they are whining excessively.
