Dire - just didn't look like we had a plan, or any belief.
Certainly didn't look like "contenders" today, either in flesh or spirit.
Bentley was the Ref - but was actually reasonably good for a change.
Cadey was ineffective up front in place of Rook, and we lacked any sort of guile or sharpness needed to cause them any real trouble at the back - we never put them under any real pressure at any stage of the game. The two openings we did have ended in weak, mis-hit shots.
Tooting had a couple disallowed, and Stoz had a penalty saved near the end.
A goal would have been more than we deserved from the game really - the Tooting 'keeper had nothing much of consequence to do apart from saving the Pen.
Luke came on for the last half hour but hardly touched the ball until stoppage time.
Ade Olorunda and Lewis Hamilton both stretchered off - hope neither is too bad. Leon Legge also crocked, and subbed near the end of the first half.
Tooting were exactly the type of workmanlike, well organised, but nothing special kind of side that is going to populate the lower mid table come season's end. We'll need to do a lot better if we're not to join them.

bad day at the longmead today.. if only every back pass was a forward one we would at least be going in the right direction.. 3 points on tuesday night  ? we`ll just have to go and see
