So we let another young central defender leave and keep one who has injury problems. Hardly logical. We have a history of letting youngsters of this type go.
Look at our present manager for an example who played for us at the tender age of 16 and went on to play many games against us often being on the winning side.
If Beales does stay and I for one sincerely hope he will, every effort should be made to keep Donna's as he is an improving player who showed great promise last season.

Gloves must be able to play in his best position i.e. midfield to show his best and it would be sad if this was not the case. Unfortunately Tommy has set up his squad in such a way that it will now be very difficult for the club to retain Beales unless he is perfectly fit. We will be short of cover in midfield if we let Glove's go just as we will be short of cover at the back if we let Wilfort go. I really do not see releasing Starkey as a way forward considering that his age and undoubted potential. Only the board can answer these difficult questions.
