RYMAN YOUTH LEAGUE SEASON 2008-09

We have been allocated a place in the South East Division of the Ryman Youth League. The teams involved in this division are:-

Burgess Hill Town, Croydon Athletic, Eastbourne Town, Horsham, Horsham YMCA, Lewes, Maidstone United, Whyteleafe, Worthing and Ourselves.

The League is now formed of 20 clubs, and there is a North West Division made up of:-

AFC Wimbledon, Carshalton Athletic, Corinthian Casuals, Godalming Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Kingstonian, Staines Town, Tooting & Mitcham,
Walton & Hersham and Woking.

Details of fixtures will be announced as soon as I have them.

Everyone will have an entirely different starting 11 surely?

Mmm depends... because usually you get a mix of what would be under 17s in the u18s because there is never u17 teams... so you may get some teams using the majority of last years players again as they are still eligible for u18s football.

The majority of last years U18's are too old. The few first year U18's we used are now obviously with their correct squad.
Glad to see Ryman have cut it into two leagues as last season it was a struggle to finish all the games, although it's a shame we won't be playing the likes of AFC Wimbledon and Staines.
Of last years players, all were invited to pre-season training with the reserves. Some have and some have chosen other areas, such as university. Always keen to know where they've gone? Good luck to all the U18's in whatever path they take.
It was such a shame we finished on such a low but it was certainly a season with many ups and downs to say the least!
Good luck to Colin and Chris's squad for the coming season.
