I'm sure all refs will love the opportunity to tell the home team to add on 1 or 2 minutes with a suitable signal for each one!

anyway the board indicates the minimum amount of injury time , not the maximum, so when the lino holds up 3 and he plays 7 there is nothing anyone can do about it.
all referees are neutral and have no secret hidden agendas

sweet that sounds a good

especially the added time like when we were cheated out of a point which would of ment so much *cough* chelmsford wasnt there but *cough* hendon away

It would have been the same amount of injury time regardless of whether a board was shown or not?

like how they were cheated out of 3 points by our two flukey goals at their place,

swings and roundabouts jack

Indicating the minimum amount of added time is something long overdue at this level of the game.

I too wonder at how the ref will get this message over to the person holding the board and what will happen if said person gets it wrong!

Here where I live the ref tells the senior linesman who, during  break in the play in 45th minute, strolls up to the half way line and holds up the board. the game then resumes.

I have even seen a ref stop  a game for an imagined foul (not that this is new) so that the added time can be displayed.
