Dartfords debts
« on: Thursday, 12 June, 2008, 20:19.43 »

See from there shareholders annual report's there match stewards wages are 25% ,of the seasons amount they pay the players...

This must be the highest stewards wages in non-league football..probably more than some league clubs.

They may get a 1000 each game, then the council rake off everyone's wage, but in real terms its probably the same as most clubs getting 500-600 in...

Its typical pc over indulgent rules red tape call it what you like! The cost of stewarding pp is a complete joke and anyone with common sense will know its ott!

Heard that this issue is being looked at and this season the amount of steward is set to be dropped. The problem seems to be the amount of volunteers recruited, the ones that will do it for nowt!

Anyways, here's hoping for a great season.

Good to many stewards and security type officials is not nice in non-league any way.

kebab us,  Will they reduce it this season with larger amounts of away fans..i bet you didnt have more than 500odd  away fans all last season ..i think only sudbury and canvey bought around a 100 each the rest tens and twentys.

Last season we knew that there wouldn't be that many away fans, the next highest home average was only 305. Guess Enfield brought the most at about 70!

The number of stewards are dropping as lessons are learned etc. We do expect a higher home average because of the larger away fans.

Oi check out what time i posted,  i was under the influence!

We all know that some teams will be bringing a larger away following compared to last season in the Essex league.

As a matter of interest how many Angels fans travel away?

My guess is about 400 Darts fans to the Longmead.

i have never seen 400 darts at Longmead, its usually about 80..but then you only had 200 odd fans watching you in Exile.

Its a tuesday eve at longmead..so i dont think there will be much more than the usual darts turnout!

Ok its a Tuesday night, 250 is the new estimate. Seeing as you know so much about our following! The crowds have increased home/away!

654 for a friendly vs Bromley Tues night, its not bad is it?

400 Darts fans at Longmead, yes its possible, you struggle to get that yourselves at home i've heard?
