Firstly mods yes I know this is in the wrong place but hopefully you'll let it stay for a bit just to get max views for the exiles and all fans in general to view.
As you will have seen TAFCTV is launching this year, the equipment has all just arrived and Ill be going down the ground over the next week to film some stuff behind the scenes and also of the ground/stand developments.
After games have been filmed there will be highlights available online free, these will just show the key parts to matches and close chances etc. Highlights will also be available to download free to PC/Video IPods and Sony PSPs.
Full 90 minutes will be available for sale in two ways. Firstly DVDs, usually around football clubs and this include the ones in our league that do this... people charge between £9 and £12? for DVDs. To try and get more people buying DVDs our's will be up for sale at £5 a DVD. Now i know most people will only buy the odd big game but does everyone feel £5 is a reasonable price? These prices include DVD labelling professionally done and come in labelled , Blue full size DVD cases. For the fans based abroad/further out than Kent or just in general anyone who cant make alot of games and wants to buy several DVDs. There wont be as such a subscription service.. because in a month we may have more or less games in November than in March. But if you order 5 DVDs at once.. this can be pre order so order the next 5 games on DVD to be sent to you one by one as they finish or altogether at the end of the 5 games.. they will be £4 each. So £20 for 5 instead of £25. Again feedback on this? Full 90 minutes will also be available for download to your PC and this will cost £3 for normal WMV/MPEG file (this is what you view normal video clips in).. or £4 for DVD file format so at a later date you can burn your own DVD of it for keeps. Again if bought in "5's" a pound will be knocked off per sale meaning WMV/MPEG 5 for £10 instead of £15. and DVDfile format 5 for £15 instead of £20. I can also make the full 90 minute downloads in IPod/PSP formats on request for the £3 each charge.

Final point, to get the Live Audio Commentaries up and running completely we need a bit more money donated/sponsored. If you know of any companies that may be interesting in sponsoring the website then just say they will have their company advertised on every highlights/DVD sale/on audio broadcasts and with logos on the website. For £200 for the season. The website has had 20,000 unique hits since the end of April so a great sponsorship opportunity. To donate money to the website use the button on the website or contact donations@tonbridgeangels.co.uk
Please note Postage prices not included in above costs. These will be calculated individually depending on whether having to post abroad or not.
Cheers Mike

I dont see it in a way of making money, for example Dover when they were running their live audio for so much a month they even admitted they could only see the point in running it if they made a load of money from it.
The reason I have set the prices with the highest at £5 is to get more supporters to buy. It gives them more of an opportunity to buy gamesthey want to instead of thinking that buying the DVD is another £10.
The highlights are there as a service, as will the commentaries. The DVD/Download sales will be joint with donations to purely cover the cost of running the services and then onto improve them.
Once up and running the TV side of things will cost nothing to run other than buying of blank DVDs, DVD Cases, Labelling stuff. Which will be covered each time by the DVD sale in the price.
The Radio will cost the initial set up then £15 a month to gain a broadband connection at all grounds via a data card. The Radio also has a yearly fee, TV doesnt.
At the moment the TV stuff is completely paid, thanks to the Chairman. The costs of the initial set up of the Radio will in the majority be covered by a player who stepped forward saying he would put up the money and speak to players to spread the costs between them. However i need to wait until the first training session to find out whats happening with that.
Once everything is set up providing the Sales/Donations cover the £15 a month then both services will be successfull. Following that money made from donations and sales will be split between improving the services and a fund to pay off the next years Radio set up fee.
The idea of getting sponsors is to cover the Radio set up fees, so the Sales/Donations can go just towards the 15 a month and improving the services.
I also ideally need one more volunteer , in the end money made from the services may have to be used to pay wages for another member to add to the team if no-one volunteers.. which I suppose could come under improving the service.
Hope you sorta understand how the thing will work now, even though ive gone on and on for ages and probably repeated myself about 20 times!!
Final point which I've just remembered. Highlights of the most recent match will moist likely be played on one of the TVs in the bar before games. Also Tommy is going to be using the highlights/full 90 minutes for training purposes to so also if the sales and other income from the idea really gets going money will go towards buying some software like you see on MOTD or Sky where they can draw around players circle, highlight etc on the video clip, which will then be set up for Tommy to again use for training purposes.
