I have ahorrible feeling that hes the fat **** left back that played against us at Atspeed this year. Bloody hope not.

However have heard nothing from Tommy regarding this so until then Im going to say its a false rumour as he always confirms everything almost straight as it happens.
And also when i spoke to Tommy previously after someone had asked on here if we were going to sign anyone else from Horsham he gave me a list of players that he would be interested in signing from them... there was 3 or 4 including Rook and Westy and Myall was not on that list so I have my doubts about this one at the moment...
Will try contacting him.

By my reckoning we are still a bit short of cover in the full back department on both sides of the park. Yes I know that Heath'y and Cramp are possible cover if they stay.
If they don't Myall may be an option.

More interesting is the news that Scott Ramsey has failed to agree a contract offer at Eastbourne Borough and some are linking him with a move to us.

He is a proven goal scorer and in normal circumstances I would be fully behind any moves to sign him but I do ask myself where would he fit in with our younger , some would say better strikers.

Maybe a coaching role with the reserves or youth?

Just heard the Stuart Myall rumour is utter balls, gazza will also confirm that..

As for scott ramsay, i see it difficult for us to have been in contact with him as im pretty sure Tommys on holiday at the moment, that also is the same for myall

Why would someone whos only 27 and been playing conf south level football for the past 4 years (played about 25 last year and scored quite a few in a team that finished second at the level aboveus) be interested in a Ryman level youth /reserves coaching role  Huh

Definitely good enough to go alongside Rook/Olorunda or Cade up top

Scott is a Hastings-born forward who started his football career at Brighton. Proved to be something special in his youth, turning to professional level in the 1998 season.
Determined to get into the Brighton first-team he made around 10 games.
However, the League was proving to be hard for Scott so he joined Yeovil Town.
His twelve-week loan with the Conference outfit saw him score four goals in 14 matches.
He went on to join Dover Athletic in January 2002 and then switched to Eastbourne Borough in May.

above from Non League daily
scored 180 odd goals in 280 games for eastbourne, rated highly by fans on their forum who claim hen is heading our way. Now THIS would be a very good signing.

Fingers crossed.

Must admit to feeling a little stupid about Scott Ramsey's age. I had him at about 32 which explained the Ressie youth thing.

At 27 he would be a great signing if he keeps fit, which has apparently been a problem this year.

Having said that I am sure there will be many other clubs interested so it probably won't amount to much.

First heard about the Stuart Myall rumour yesterday morning from a link on the Horsham Forum. I did post a new thread about it but when speaking to Nick Sullivan yesterday he confirmed it was complete and utter tosh so thought it best to delete the whole thing.

I know we're short in the right full-back area but surely there are better out there than Myall? Might be composed on the ball but in all honesty, I've got more pace than him!! 2funny

Anyhow, like Mikey said, if anyone else was to come in it would mean one making way...
