no choice really
lampard and terry
then for someone to throw a hand granade onto the pitch
( lets do the whole" how can you wish that on someone routine" )
How dare you wish that on Chelsea & ManUre's stars, it is an absolute bloody disgrace! It is a far too humane way to rid the world of these menaces.

I actually really enjoyed the game last night, with only a handful of things annoying me about the match/commentators

1. David " when the **** did i become a Prime time footy commentator " Pleat Praised Ronaldo every time he got the ball, even on the few occasions he bottled it and couldnt get round essien.

2. Ronaldo has a tremendous habit of diving, all the time, or making a mountain out of a crappy little moll hill, then when the free kick has been given, he gets up, winks and waits for the sound of Plaety praising him for being a "soldier" who "never gives up"

3. Avram Grant is crap, im sorry, but he hasnt done anything decent since he went to Stamford bridge, he didnt get to the Champions league final, his players did

and finally, I would much rather have JT in my squad than ronaldo, ronaldo isnt the best player in the world, he just scores alot more goals than terry, Man U would have still won last night without ronaldo, but chelsea would have been down by 90 mins without the towering centre back

Just after Spurs sacked him for consorting with prostitutes.

My comments...

1. Pleat's an idiot though quite entertaining! Can't remember an awful lot of Essien stopping Ronaldo to be honest. I'd agree that Ronaldo had a lot more defensive work to do than normal, I think we all saw another side to his game. Unlike in the past when he was anonymous in the big games, last night he stepped up to the plate. Rooney was strangely quiet - too quiet.

2. Ronaldo had a couple of incidents last night but was nowhere near as bad as Didier Drog-****e, he really is something else! Disgrace to football that bloke.

3. Grant is crap, I think everyone associated with Chelsea knows that too. Reckon they will ditch him in the Summer for Rijkaard or someone like that...

I may shock a few people by saying this but I do think Terry is over-rated, I can even think of a few English centre backs that are better, let alone foreigners. Vidic makes him look distinctly ordinary IMO.

Ferdinand and Terry are without the best defensive partnership on offer for England at the moment,

As far as vidic goes, i have never seen him do anything better than JT, mind you, I did spend most of last year in france, away from Kent, and we all know the majority of Man U supporters come from the south of England anyway  Grin

Apparently Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (young uns ask your dad) reckons that renamimg the Uefa cup the Uefa europa league will make it as big as the champions league.
