When Reed joined, people were very excited then after a few games he lost favour, eventually he settled and proved his quality. Other players should be afforded the chance to win our hearts! Some players just don't fit with their teams, and when they move they shine.

Think someone mentioned in another thread about where we sign players from. I am encouraged to think that players might be recruited from lower down the pyramid..hopefully their careers are on the up and we could then sell them on and collect a good fee, rather than paying for an experienced player whose career is waning.

There are always exceptions of course, when experience is called for rather than enthusiasm, but both are essential to a good team.

but if reed goes i wouldnt say he would be a good replacement
Mr Reed was certainly in fine form after taking a couple of months to settle down last season & I would not be surprised if some club in the Blue Square South or even the BS prem are sniffing around.

If this Hastings bloke is the same one that we saw at Longmead & Pilot Field this season then I thought that he was one of the best 'keepers in the league.

I am pretty sure that Tommy would keep Reedy, budget allowing, even if he does get another keeper.

He has said all along that there should be competition in that position if possible so it would make sense for him to be talking to more than one keeper.

We all hope Reed is one of them and if Worgan is the other, that would be good.

having not seen them play apart from poorly against us i cannot give a judgement on the orlundi's ,until the season begins,  my only concern is that we wanted one but had to sign them both
a bit like buying a dog from the kennels

Worgan and Reed in the same squad looks like there could be a problem. Both will not be happy being a reserve to the other surely. If the rumours concerning Reed are true , then maybe this shouldn't be a problem??
