Taken from

Lew Watts
Bud Boy fell out of favour last season after being one of the stars the previous year. Has spent most of his career at Welling and had 2 spells at Gravesend and one at Fisher. Former England Semi Pro at Right Back and has looked good in the centre of defence until a dodgy end to last season. Possibly has the balls to roll his sleeves up and return to former glories though unlikely to be first choice at the start of the new season. Not one to right off just yet. Has also played in the middle of the park.

Report from Maidenhead v WElling last season:

"...The visitors grabbed a penalty after the break, but they did not deserve any more, and indeed ended the contest with 10 men after Lew Watts blew a fuse and was dismissed for thumping Craig O’Connor with just seconds remaining...."

We have a rival to Danny Lye as the Angels enforcer  Cheesy

he was one of my predictions to sign back in July, it's just taken him longer to realise that Ryman 1 is where it all 'appens.
Nice to see that Matt Lee still causes us problems....and he doesn't even play for us anymore !
At least we haven't signed him on loan after all those fiascos last year....me also believes Hambley has left to allow the budget to be kept flat.

oldmonkey, why don't you piss off and make remarks like that somewhere else.

Strange how all the subsequent posts have provided the evidence about your new signing!

Lew Watts should be useful cover while we are missing Steve Aris. Not sure he would fit into the starting 11 when Aris is back though.

Good timing though with Crampy unavailable Saturday due to representing Kent.

sounds like a great signing to enhance our need for clean sheets. a few in the next few games will consolidate our position at the top and our progress in the cups.

mind you if he tries it on (as suggested by others in this forum) he will have the Barmy Army to answer to!!

good luck in your career with the Angels, Lew.
first task is to take out a few of those Worcester Saucerers asap
