my only observation about this is we all have a freedom of choice here. People are moaning about an extra £2 to get in or 3 to sit.
First ,2 quid is sod all to anyone working and as has been elequently pointed out is 2/3rds of a pint of beer or half a packet of fags. Do we see anyone complaining here when cigs or booze go up ? No.

More to the point fuel is increasing at ten times the rate admission to the angels is- where are the people protesting outside Shell or BP.

The weekly grocery shop(so i am reliably informed :-) ) has increased way beyond inflation - are we boycotting Sainsburys or Tescos no.

Income tax rose with the abolition of the 10% rate- have we started the march on no 10? NO.

Put simply we putr up with shed loads of increases on neccesities or items we cannot choose to ignore yet when the price on A RECREATIONAL PURSUIT goes up -it brings out the same old gripes.

If you dont like it vote with your feet, if you cant do without your footie then pay the extra and drink or smoke a bit less.

At the end of the day its YOUR CHOICE.

and sorry Dick Socialism dont work, everyone cant be equal -there has to be a top middle and lower tier. Power to the people comrade

It appears to me, that everybody is allowed an opinion on Angel's matters except, perhaps, Nick!

Given the choice of losing a few 'fans' or Nick ....  personally, I would stick with Nick and will be happy to pay the extra quid to assist with the ground enhancement.

Am I the only one to think like this?

Whether socialist or capitalist, I think most of us would rather live ina democracy and taht's means respecting other peoples opinions even if we don't agree with them. Personally I don't have a big problem with charging for seats but people who do have a right to express it. A debate is healthy. It only stops being healthy when people take it personally and start lashing out
