the more competition for places the better
cade is meant to be a decent player, if he gets more than 3 games to get up to full working speed i reckon quasy will be in for a season on the bench

Any player with a run of games is going to improve, we saw it with Q last season. In Rooky, Q and Cades we have three very decent strikers at this level.

OK thats Q and Cade competing for one attacking slot, but what about the other? Jury still out on Rooky for me - far too many ineffective games without a genuine option available on the bench, if we sign a similar forward who can give him the kick up the arse he sometimes needs, we are in for a great season.

this is all about building not-too-big a squad with strength in depth - with competition for places in all the key areas on the pitch.
having 3 decent strikers means they will have to fight every minute for one of the 2 regular spots.
ditto for midfield, defence and the goalie.
it also adds as instant cover for injuries/suspensions etc.

Remember Cades can play right wing too so competition for Johnny Westcott, which he didn't really have last year.

I too, like Dan, want to see one more striker brought in... Smiley

Have to disagree - I can't see Cade and Edusei playing together up front too often.  Undecided

I would be very pleased were Jamie Cade to sign for us.  I saw him play a full game for Lewes against Fisher towards the end of the season and was very impressed.  His work rate was excellent in his games for the Angels and he is quick too.

we will lack goals if Q and cade played togeather imo

rook showed his potential for a few months then dropped in form needs some confidence for next season or he could find himself in the reserves
