Who Else Can Bend It Like....
« on: Thursday, 29 September, 2005, 06:08.23 »

.... Tony Dolby!!

we have seen some superb set plays and brilliantly converted free kicks this season so far.
has there ever been a better set play specialist play for the Angels - i doubt it.

PA Mick was darn near right on tuesday when he announced the second Angels scorer as "Roberto Carlos" !!

That freekick he scored isnt any old free kick. That required alot of skill and Dolby has Bags of that. Keep it up Dolbs

When Dobla's free kick went in tuesday night I turned round to my mate and said Beckham would have been proud of that. Awesome!

That's his best free-kick yet, IMO.

Before he took it we were unsure if he would attempt it from the 'wrong' side of the goal. Smiley

Just before he took it , i said to Jane he's going to pop this one in - and he did.
reminded me of Kooman in a Holland v England qualifier a few years ago, when they were managed by the Turnip.
