Grant ed he is good
|
This is the Andy Constable from Whitstable,Tun Wells and Sevenoaks, He is a mate of Jules, they met at Sevenoaks when Jules was Manager there, Credit to the manager for getting Andy to play, 7 goals in 2 games, was the boost the team needed, thought they looked tired last night, but if they stay third that will almost certainly give them promotion. That is just what the club need its meant to be a good standard so fingers crossed. Just for the record Andy played for Jules a season or so back in a cup game and scored-- 3 surprise suprise.

So does that mean he has now signed for Angels with a view to playing next season or was it just to help out a mate?
Well done to the reserves. Would anyone like to be bold and forecast how many of the current squad will move up and be a regular feature in Tommy's squad for next season? It would surely be good for the club if some of the reserve team players move up. Clearly by finishing in the top 3 or 4 there must be some good players out there.
Does anyone have a view?

Good point Gazza. However surely if the players have ambition then they would want to be involved around the first team set up. That could include training with the first team, when close up it would be easier for the first team management team to assess their strength and weaknesses and only take forward the ones that can genuinely make it at first team level.
The reality is that when you look back over the season, none of the current reserve team has broken through to play at first team level. A few bench appearances as you say, but hopefully that can change in the future.

There was an Andy Constable who played for Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury City under Martin Farnie a few year back. The new kid on the blocks career includes Bromley,Whitstable Town, Sevenoaks Town,Whitstable Town,Tunbridge Wells,Chatham Town,Sevenoaks Town.
