Dartford up « on: Tuesday, 29 April, 2008, 20:02.25 »
Well the Darts will be coming your way next season, if AFC Wimbledon go up, will be the best supported club in the division! Still crowd figures have zilch to do with how the team plays, tell me how better is the standard and do the Darts have a better than average chance of staying up?

From seeing you this season. your currently about the level of harlow i'd say. So you need a few signings to make sure you stay up.
And drop the "biggest crowd" crap. Noone cares. If you lot keep going on about it on every forum it will make you very unpopular very quickly. Much Like Dover.

Good luck next season kebabus.
I was fortunate enough to be shown around the ground and the main building by Gary Clark before last season's reserve friendly and was mighty impressed - I don't buy into all this Legoland crap which I think was started by some grumpy Dover fans!
Some of our younger fans won't remember the original Dartford and their status so perhaps don't appreciate the potential you have up there. I for one rate both Cass and May highly - Cass was still recovering from injury and May was 18 when they supposedly "struggled" in the Premier Division in what was quite frankly a very poor Tonbridge team of the time. I think they'll do just fine.
Having said all that don't underestimate the division - you will need to strengthen to consolidate as all clubs do - but I am confident you'll do so and finish mid-table at least.
