Nice draw (apart from the distance). Well-supported club... win, lose or draw it should add to the coffers.

And... didnt we all think we'd lose to Fisher...  coolsmiley

Couldn't expext a much better draw at this stage of the competition to be honest, shame about the travel. Oh well, all we need to do is get those scoring boots on again, they're certainly not scoring for fun Smiley

Hi, guys. Just tuning in here from Worcester.

As they say, a home draw against lower league opposition is the best that you can hope for - the last two years we've been drawn against Nuneaton and Cambridge City and lost them both..

It will mean absolutely nothing on the day. Ability, confidence and character (and often a little luck which you can do owt about) are what will come into play, and you've clearly got form in the league at the moment, and showed it in a very good on Saturday.

A couple of years back we were in the Southern League Premier, playing the likes of Hastings, Dover and Newport IOW, before finishing in the top 14 when they reorganised. We are always borderline between north and south, and ended up the southernmost Club in the Conference North.

We've got three players you may have heard of - Andy Preece (ex Crystal Palace) is player-manger, Graham Hyde (ex Birmingham City) and Des Lyttle (ex Notts Forest).

Form this year hasn't been great, admittedly. Coming close to getting the results, but not quite nailing them.

Crowds are a bit down on last year - Worcester Warriors are taking a few glory seekers. I'd expect maybe 650 to be there, moreorless.

And we know a little bit about giant-killing at Worcester, so there will be some expectation of what could happen if the team don't perform.

Cheers

Andy
