Next Seasons Website

Just coming on here, in the final stages of the website.

Is there any features of anything specific you lot would like to see on there?
And don't say keeping it up to date as this has already been sorted out as its not just me doing the updating this year it will be kept up to date day by day.

Why not just keep it simple and don't over complicate things? All I would want from a club website is:

- Fixtures, results, goalscorers, attendances
- Player appearances ang goals scored
- League table updated twice a week if midweek games are played
- Latest news, transfers, travel information for away games
- Photos/videos from previous games
- Reserve and youth team fixtures, results and news

Anything else and I probably won't read it. Oh, and clear and simple navigation.

this is not a dig mike, but the constant re-designin isnt impressing people, the keep up of into is the way forward

some web games on it would be good

something like duck hunt, you could have jon main going lightning quick on level 10

and harris on level 1  2funny

Aaron.. the first re-design this year was because thewebsite got hacked by someone and ****ed the template up.
And this one is for next season and means it is easier, quicker to update and simpler for people with less HTML knowledge.

I'm simply asking for any ideas of stuff people want to see on there... For example a Tommy Warrilow blog isn't going to make work any harder for me as he updates it himself from his computer.

Photos is up to Dave(Kentishman) if he lets them go on the Official Website as he is the only photographer at the club.

Videos, would require a volunteer, which we dont get.

Dont go away travel information from South Spain  Grin

2 things then (sensible this time)

1) A pub guide to the ground from train station would be quite unique

2) A Barmy Army section, where they can send you videos/pictures/thoughts from their perspective of things, that would be original! (i.e i know one of Jack's mates videos everything on his phopne, and i have an awesome video from us at oxford, that kind of thing!)

So you mean like a fans gallery where they can upload their own things that show in the gallery?

if you include this feature the submissions would have to be reviewed before going on the site.

as it's the official website you don't want anything on there that could even slightly harm the reputation of the club and it's fans.

Good thinking Ali, not sure if thats possible, can definitely have a "report this video" button but will have to look into the reviewing bit.

As for aarons other idea, maybe Nobby, Phil or Rob wanna do that as they seem to spend 24 hours a day in the tonbridge pubs
