Several rumours flying around at the moment, won't read too much into it until the facts are released...

Rumoured that Wingate and Finchley FC actually own the ground, what with the improvements due, should be OK for them should they eventually get out of Ryman 1 North.

Another rumour is that Leyton's lease to the ground doesn't expire until next season! Also rumoured that they'll drop to the Essex County League which is probably about their level I'd say, with the exception of Victor Renner who I would expect to move on in the Summer. Average attendances in that division are around 50.

not bad i was looking up on the history of tonbridge the other day

and the whole of tonbridge is built on clay

which might have an effect on the pitch drying out as clay does not absorb liquid very well
