They're expected to win because of their league position so in that respect we have nothing to lose. I'm sure Tommy and the lads' confidence is sky-high at the moment and they believe they can beat anyone, including a side destined for Conference South footy next season. We can do it! Cheesy

The Chelmsford forum is hinting they could win thr league on Saturday if results go their way.  Don't fancy that much, having to watch them celebrating at  ' ours'. Especially as it's going to be my first game for ages.  Just have to send them homewards to think again.....

another reason why they wont, who wants to win the league somewhere other than at home

angelboi - dnt be so negative, we ****ed ****ed them at l;ongmead lat year, deserved to **** them at there place this year, why shouldnt we hope for a win, if the gerbil says they were crap at maidstone, maybe they have slumped, we should aim for the win, cos as ali said, big teams are our speciality

If my maths is correct, they can only pick up the title should both AFC Wimbledon and Staines fail win. The Dons host Horsham while Staines go to Boreham Wood.

Of course, this would all be complete tosh should we beat them! C'mon you Angels! Cheesy

There's a few mind games going on elsewhere with City fans claiming we will be under pressure to attack. Although I'm very confident we will win, and keep another clean sheet, I will be more than happy if the game ends in a draw, I would expect us to beat Harrow and Hendon on current form and that will give us 7 points from the three home games and put us in a very strong position. I fear the Billericay and Hornchurch games more than this one.  Saw one estimate of 450 travelling fans - if that is true we should expect 1000 through the gate.  Afro

As for the pitch - has anyone who's commented actually checked the pitch out for themselves?  Huh
