Not the best game to watch, with the blustry conditions and occasional snow didn't help and a poor team performance still saw us take the three points. Charlie Sharman should have scored early on and an own goal, the defender heading in a 24th minute Matt Newman free kick, plus a Horley player seeing his second yellow card was as much as could be said for the first half. The second half was pretty much the same as the first, another chance to score went when Alex Rich should have done better when one on one with the Horley keeper. We finally sealed the points in the 83rd minute when Phil Starkey's through ball saw Ashley Dann tuck it past the oncoming keeper.
Team: Grant, Starkey (Ashmore), Crane, Bowles, Brock, Newman, Cole, Dix (Butler), Dann, Sharman, Rich, A (Daly) Subs: Dixey Booked: Martin Grant
LEAGUE POSITION Played Pts 1 Salisbury City 24 70 2 Corinthian-Casuals 28 60 3 Three Bridges 24 50 4 Walton Casuals 26 44 5 Molesey 25 41 6 Tonbridge Angels 23 40
