A bit more information to back up what I was saying. It states in the rules governing the FA Challenge Cup that prize money for round winners will be paid to the Clubs within six working days. This couldn't be done if the system worked the way you thought.
So, you should already have received 2,250 for your 1st QR win, and by the beginning of next week have banked the 3,750 from your win against Fisher.
That is 6,000 in total banked so far.
If it is agreed between the two Clubs, you can claim the cost of an overnight stay from the gate receipts, which is deducted from gate income before the split is made between the two Clubs. Travel costs are also payable in the FA Cup.
Win or lose, you will get a share of the St. George's Lane gate receipts, which if there is about 600 in (being pessimistic) would be an income to you of somewhere between 1000 - 1800 quid.
So, you've got 7,000 - 8,000 quid already.
You're playing us for a further 5,000 quid in prize money, to take it to 12,000 -13,000 in total (and, of course, the chance to progress to even bigger money).
