Sheffield United / Middleborough VS Cardiff City
Manchester United VS Portsmouth
Bristol Rovers VS West Bromage Albion
Barnsley VS Chelsea

Middlesborough have a great chance to get through to the final now, providing they avoid the big two in the semi's. Gotta be the dark-horse favourites now. Another Premiership side are set to fall in the tie at Old Trafford. Bristol Rovers vs West Brom means one non-Premiership side will play at Wembley in this season's competition. Barnsley have yet another money-spinner but IMO this will be a step too far.

old trafford yes, but not emirates because it's too close to wembley, villa park was fine as it was one up north, one in the midlands and the the final in the south

As in previous years there should be a number of suitable grounds available as a "half-way" spot between the two clubs. So Villa Park if a north/south semi or the Emirates if two London clubs meet, etc.

That system worked perfectly well, but Wembley needs to be paid for somehow.  Wink
