referee was an absolute joke, from the moment he booked matt lovell i knew he was going to have a nightmare

For those who were asking yesterday if we had the misfortune of being officiated by that ref before, I understand he also took charge of the Chelmsford game in December (yes he was awful that day too).

The good news is he was being assessed yesterday. Although no doubt he will be fast-tracked to the Premier League now.  idiot2

It's good to see Folkestone agree on the ref. Truly awful It seems to happen at every level of the game. I really enjoy a game when the ref isn't mentioned, that means he's done a good job. Few and far between unfortunately.....

As an aside...the ref for the U18's KYL game today got knocked out, stone cold sober, in the warm up today!  Shocked

Being very positive I must say it was good to see Rook score yet again. Unfortunately it seems that are defence is about as watertight as blotting paper at the moment.
Folkestone's third goal was the 13th we have conceded in the last 4 games.

I wish Tommy every success in addressing the problem.

P.S I really hope no persons regard this observation as personal.

A Folkestone view on Saturday's ref. He wasn't biased, just cr*p. He didn't give us a dead cert penalty in the first half, so maybe that's why he was quick to give us the one he did. To honest, I thought it was a penalty - your keeper went out with the intention of getting the ball, but he got it all wrong and ended up just jumping into our player; but it was never a red card.

If he was being assessed, perhaps both sets of fans singing 'the referee's a winker' in unison might just have told the assessor something?

Let's hope we both stay up - the more Kent teams in the league the merrier.

Had the weekend to reflect over Saturday's defeat.

Honestly thought we were the better side throughout despite being reduced to ten men and the referee being as appalling as he was. Invicta had 3 shots on goal, 3 goals. Didn't see the sending off of Reedy, like most I was in the bar at the time, but that killed us. Just to rub salt into the wound, the ref gives a 'foul' against 'Kwasi for towering above the defender and winning a clean header, they score from the resultant free-kick. That said, we didn't create enough for me.

I'm a positive person and still don't think we'll go down, but we surely need to be getting results against poor poor sides like Folkestone.

It's good to see Folkestone agree on the ref.

All the Folkestone fans I spoke with reckoned the ref was a disgrace and totally ruined the game.  Angry

That is two games in a week when the ref has changed the game with some awful decisions.  Sad We can't really judge how well the team is progressing when we keep playing against 12 (or 13) men.  tickedoff

are you the new club spokesman
only you are the person doing all the swearing behind the goal
so i suggest that instead of picking holes in people comments on here, you cough up the money to nick sullivan that he is paying the police to look after you in future home matches
but it is only a suggestion
and nobody from the club has said this  Afro
