3-2 FT. Apparently v unlucky and the ref was a ****. But perhaps now we can finally forget all the ridiculous play off talk and focus on the relegation battle.

Not going to post my thoughts until all negative thoughts have drifted out of my head.
When that happens I will collect my positive thoughts and share them in a positive manner on this forum.
Unless of course what I have just written is considered as negative or personal in which case I will shut up.

Folkestone (plus Ref and Linesman) V Angels
A bit like Heartbreak Ridge against all odds 1 down (why do we always have to give ourselves a mountain to climb ? ) we came back very strongly - thanks to Rookie - the team played extremely well after being on the backfoot for the first 20 mins. Then guess what shock horror ! poor Mattie Reed was penalised for what i thought was a fair challenge on the onrushing forward and was Redcarded totally unwarranted ? .
Stand in Goalie was brilliant - 10 men were magnificent./ even their supporters in the bar said quote "If i was a Tonbridge supporter i would be gutted" We didnt deserve to win.
I hope we put an official complaint in against the officials. It was a disgusting one-sided competition.
Still we have to dust ourselves off and get back on a good track.
Well played you Angels - and the Barmy Army were in full voice.

couldnt make it today who got our goals?
Carl Rook (deep Westcott cross headed back into the six yard box by Wilfort which was turned in at the near post by Rookie from about a yard out, and an own goal, sliced in at the near post from a low cross
We are in trouble now. There is no doubt that we deserved the three points yesterday - as most Folkestone fans have verified on their forum - and I cannot fault the performance from the lads, but more games like that will keep us entrenched in the bottom 4-6 places and in the inevitable relegation zone.
Tommy talked a good game on Wednesday, and I'm sure he has the right ideas to take us forward, but we have to start getting RESULTS fast. In the league, Margate at home next, and despite their result yesterday that is not going to be easy either. Saturday home game against a very strong side - this is exactly the sort of game we would have rolled over and lost under Dobla, so will give a real assessment of our genuine progression under TW.
