By the way, i lied about Haydon. The real reason for his name is that after a naming competition in which the final name was chosen by Elisabeth Beresford herself, the club announced that the new Womble would be known as "Haydon," after Haydons Road, the nearest railway station to Wimbledon's original home ground, Plough Lane.  coolsmiley

just so i've got it clear in my head it is currently between a giant cat costume and an actual llama, and dan's spoilsport nothing at all option

I do agree that we should have no mascot, I see the actual live llama more as club pet sort of thing...

...it will also be eductional as it will demonstrate to everyone that a llama is not a monkey

it might finally get us some attention on south east today, even if the rspca take it off us

all publicity is good publicity



perhaps the courier could do something similar with the latest headlines, they could call it the Daily Llama
