Better than i thought they would. They were dangerous on the long ball. Your no.11 gave us problems with his speed.

No one told me Danny Lye would not be playing today  Angry What is he suffering from?  Huh

I hope Aris is ok - took another knock to his face. He played with possibly a broken nose and a black eye. Heard he was awaiting an operation to his nose, so i hope we don't lose him for too long.

I thought Dobla put some beautiful crosses in in the first half. And although looked tired in places, kept on attacking til the end. He was awarded MOM at the game by Mr Frank Davis who was celebrating his 53rd season at the Angels and was rightfully presented witht the Champers before the start of the match.

I can't decide between Razor (Wise) or Beales for MOM personally.

Luke looked sharp as ever. But well done to everyone. We are TOP OF THE LEAGUE  Smiley Smiley Smiley

i heard Danny got a bang to the knee on Tues and was rested as Dobla thought we could win without him - he was right. Great decision, lets get him 100% for Fisher.

Thanks KMan - yes we did win without him - but not with so much style and certainty  Wink

I noticed Leroy going straight off too, He thanked the crowd for applauding him though. Perhaps there is a lot of competition for his place. Though he played ok, he did not score and that is his job. Some games suit him better than others.  Sad

leroy's job is to score i agree but when he is on the pitch we look far more dangerous. also how many headers does he win against far taller defenders!!!

He looks dangerous because we know what he is capable of. Yes, he has amazing spring to him. What i do not like is the way he will not attack the goal when in possession. He did a couple of times today, but he also had the ball taken off him more than a few times because he hesitated or tried to hold the ball too long.

That said, i still have faith. Some games will suit him better than others. I s'pose we have to rely on the management to recognise this. Haughton replaced him and scored.
