How it looks?
« on: Thursday, 17 January, 2008, 11:05.39 »

So we are third from bottom and in desperate need of points in order to stay up! As far as I'm aware to stay up you need goals! We no longer have Main, Hamid or for a good month or so no Razor!

That means our plight has to be saved by the following forwards:

Harris: Do I need to say anymore, can you really see him banging in a goal at least every other game! Or any game for that matter!

Rook: Failed to score so far, hopefully will come good but can't guarantee it. Is time on our side?

Fontana: As Rook

Collins: How old is he?

Now I'm not generally a negative supporter when it comes to TAFC however the news that has been confirmed this morning seriously makes me wonder whether we will stay up this season!

What does everybody else think?

I've said it before, I'm sure we won't go down, we have too many decent players for that to happen. But we sure as hell find ourselves in a right old mess. We need points and quickly, starting Saturday vs Heybridge.

Rook and Fontana will come good but as you say, we need them to now! Proven goalscorers at this level, it's only a matter of time before the goals starting flowing for the both of them.

I know he's another player who hasn't had the chance to impress so far, but don't leave out Edusei.

...and Fraser don't forget. He's done a grand job whenever he's been up top for me. Smiley

Fontana is carrying an injury & not fully match fit

Collins is 36 years old, so probably past it.

Agreed, it don't look good

Hope the manager has some quality signings lined up.

Says he left by mutual consent, maybe Hamid wanted to move on. Undecided

i think he's looking for a team that can guarantee him at least ryman premier football next season.

i think we'll just about stay up but obviously hamid isn't so sure.

I agree things dont look great Hamid going is a loss Harris staying is a loss but we have to get behind what we have weve all written off Collins but we havent seen him kick a ball yet Rook and Fontana may just click Saturday in reality 2 or 3 wins and we climb out of this **** !!!
