at the end of the day we cant complain those people who turned up saturday might not be a regular fan but it boosted the attendance

His mates all thought it was very funny though, they showed their appreciation by chanting his name! Just goes to show that they don't give a toss about the club as they probably fail to realise that the club could loose some of the profits by getting fined by the FA! If it means 20 off the gate id prefer those ****ers didn't turn up!

even more reason for the stewards to be cautious.

surely the police presence was there to prevent this kind of thing from happening

felt the atomsphere wasn't helped as alot of people in stand was there for a day out and not there to give vocal support

i was at the ground at 1245 and saw the police arrive - there were at least 10.
there we also about 8 security.

There was also quite a heavy Police presence in the town, especially outside the railway station, certainly at 2.00 pm.
