I was ashamed to be an Angel today. Team was crap. Manager's team selection was crap. Above all, our support was abysmal  Sad angel Angry

We were absolute Sh!te today.

But with cup tied & suspended players against  a full strength AFC is it any wonder

as posted in another thread, only two of those players (Westcott and Kinch) would have been any sort of improvement on what was out there today.

funnily enough two of the players we missed most were Donovan and Barr who were sat on the bench

We (AFCW) weren't quite at full strength yesterday, as we were missing four regular first teamers through injury - Andy Little, Luke Garrard, Rob Quinn and Marcus Gayle - and Jon Main was cup-tied of course.

On a more positive note, I was again impressed with the welcome we got at Longmead, you come across as a friendly yet ambitious club and it was good to reda in the programme that relations between the two clubs seem to very amicable off the pitch too.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to Kingsmeadow on Saturday week.

Didn't help that some of us who go most weeks couldn't fit into the usual singing section as there was no room.
