Should have been 3-1... Luke's 1st 'goal' should have stood. The lino didn't flag and the ref didn't whistle.... 50-50 ball... anyways the keepers head was well protected by his perm. Great result.

...and, yes, Dobla, keep Razor up front. Real handful when switched.

...watch out Ashford!

Maybe, like me the the officials were  appalled at what injury could have befallen the keeper, it was more a reaction to see if he was ok than sticking a flag up or blowing a whistle.  I'd turned away so as not to see any blood (wimp) and missed seeing the 'goal' go in... Sad

Just to change the subject......I thought Hastings No.7 was superb.  Smiley

The linesman did flag for a foul although how he managed to see if the keeper had the ball or not was a mystery. The keeper went down and had his back to the lino whilst the ref was just behind the play and didn't blow for a foul.

I stand corrected.... although when I glanced along to the lino his flag wasn't raised.

Time wasting efforts? I hadn't noticed...i kept dropping off when they had the ball out of play or waiting for the goal kick...... Roll Eyes It's always a pleasure when them sort of tactics backfire  Grin

Reading on thier forum, most Hastings fans were in agreement that they were 'outclassed' on the night. Odd one or two blamed the ref, but it went both ways on that front as far as i could see...

It still feels good to win. I see Razor (not the Hastings one) is leading the MOM poll. Very worthy of the accolade, but where to play him? Most voices seem to want him up front. He is one of those players that can play in different positions, for which i am grateful. I love his style of play. He may not agree but i cannot look at him without seeing  Dennis Wise..... Yes it was a good report.

Yep - Unlike the one in today's NLP, which I feel it necessary to disown.
I sent them a proper one but for some reason they chose to come up with their own, obvious mistakes and all....  Oh Well...
