Away day
« on: Thursday, 15 September, 2005, 16:02.09 »

Any ideas for the this years away day? Lymington seems like a good one although I think quite expensive on the train. Tooting, Hastings...... etc?

If we get enough people interested and manage to persuade a driver then could do a minibus?

Tooting is not that expensive by train and tram.
Train to croydon then tram to mitcham.
There are several watering holes in the "village", i think there are three around the green alone.
The ground is out of the tram stop and left about 300yds or so.
And if i remember the pubs are about the same distance the other way.
Hope this is useful Smiley

Tooting is a good one, and the tram to Mitcham is a laugh (especially when plastered)  Cheesy

This is very funny, not just Tooting transformed but a number of others! (scroll down to the pictures of "Olympic venues")
