ex angels kepper matt bromby has moved from Tunny wells, going to erith and balvedere, because Gary Stevens couldnt get control of the Culverden Club.
after speaking to a couple of people connected to the club (families of players e.t.c) they seem to feel the 'old boys' at t.wells fc put up such a harsh resistance to mr Stevens' takeover bid, he just shut up shop and moved on.
The reason behind the 'old guard's resistance was that they said he had "another agenda", doesnt every chairman have another agenda? Im sure nick has done something in his life other than Tonbridge Angels since he took over.

I thought they were heading for the dogs but they've actually signed a few half-decent players. I was very surprised they signed Joby Thorogood. Won 5-1 away last week.

they just dont seem to have any consistency or direction atm, mike robbins was a good appointment, seems to have brought the lads together, but think they need to get a single person who is ambitious and wants to do something with the club, like stevens did, or we could see the courier cup going back to the boring old 5-0 scorelines, and not meaning anything

I might be wrong but I think they have got some direction now - I think the details will come out in due course but they're signing a few players you wouldn't expect them to sign who are clearly buying into the story
