So are you saying Aaron that the people turning up late were not counted? In which case did they pay?

well all im saying, is that there were clearly more than that watching this stadium-

incorrect numbers could be for specific reasons such as, the 50-odd press who got passes, the entourage with Oxford (noticed 10-15 youth players by the exec lounge) and im sure that when people get in at half time, they still pay, but they dont gwet a ticket, which im sure is how they count the crowd!

Turned up 15-20 mins late due to accident on A21  Sad Had to pay (woudn't want it any other way) but there were alot of people coming in late.
Still think it was a decent attendance at this time of year, and Oxford didn't bring many as expected. What a result and what a draw for the 2nd round!  Cheesy

Have to mention Matt Reed on this thread as he has made two of the finest saves I have witnessed by a Tonbridge keeper in vital games this season.

The first was the penalty save at Ware where it proved unimportant, the second was in the second half tonight when he somehow reacted to palm out an effort by their number eight which was an awesome piece of keeping. Matty Lovell managed to block the resulting shot.

If we ever had a player who could move up I believe it's him.

Hope he's on a long contract!

Bring on the Staines.

Have to agree.  We had a whole team of heroes tonight, but Reedy was definitely Man of the Match.  Two phenomenal saves in particular.

I have to admit that I was unsure of him earlier on this season, but another who has blossomed under Tommy.

With two games of that magnitude under his belt, Matt's confidence should be brimming over.  Certainly on Saturday we never looked like conceding.  Tonight was a nailbiter second half, but a combination of their woeful shooting and excellent defending/goalkeeper gave us the result we deserved.

Once again, well done all the lads.

Bring on the Staines.
