why did your player contest the drop ball when the ref stopped play for your player to be seen by the physio? Bad sportsmanship."

Your Dons fan friend is an idiot, we had possession when play was stopped by the referee, and it was his decision to give a drop ball.  idiot2

A fantastic night.  Huge congratulations to everyone involved who made it possible.

We are so lucky to have Tommy in charge.  The place has been absolutely buzzing since he took control of team affairs and will, I believe, just get better and better.

Pride, passion, against all the odds ....... absolutely magnificent tonight.  Well done all. Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

Bealesy was absolutely immense again tonight. It would be a greater loss to us than Main and Gooding if he ever left for higher grade football, but the lad really does deserve to be playing further up the ladder. Kinch was superb until he got sent off, something that almost seemed inevitable (whether he deserved the second booking I could not see, but on a yellow did have to get involved with somebody looking to get him sent off). Hamid did a great job, but dear oh dear, that was a brainless sending off (also on a yellow). All over the pitch there were really good performances, Kember, Lovell, Donovan all defended manfully alongside the super Beales. Wingers were the same as Saturday, good first half, but starved of the ball in the second, but this was down to the pressure Oxford exerted. I haven't forgotten Matt Reed and that wonderful second half save and Tommy Tyne who put in another bloody good shift. Well done lads, over 180 minutes you have not only beaten a Conference side, but deserved to beat them. Only disappointment of the night was the attendance, 642. It wasn't that cold, there was no football on terrestrial television, so I think we could have expected a couple of hundred more.

baldangel, im sure if they counted everyone leaving at the end of the game there would have been atleast 800, lots of people turned up late, traffic jams and shopping in lakeside n'all that

I have to agree with baldangel and I think Bealsey is wasted at this level and could certainly play in a league 2 steps higher at least. Obviously I want him to stay but should an offer come for the right price --who knows!!
