I thought the Angels were very well organised today. Difficult conditions for both teams but Tommy obviously got them motivated from the word go. Great to see more balls played on the ground neat passing moves using the wings wisely which obviously was really getting to the Chelmsford players and fans who were quite disgruntled with their teams performance at halftime.
I honestly thought the Referee was straight from the Kindegarten school of refereeing interrupting the flow of the game with extremely dubious decisions which not only baffled the players but the supporters from both sides thus inflaming a second half which saw many yellow cards on both sides. I thought the sending off of "Fast Eddie" on our side was an utter disgrace the Goalkeeper was never ever in danger of having his legs severed. Disgusting decision which further inflamed the home crowd who were obviously so disappointed not to have slaughtered Tonbridge easily at home.
A great workmanlike performance from the Angels well done lads and also the Barmy Army that survived motorway crashes and death to attend and cheer on the lads.
Chelmsford fans you were a bloody disgrace at the end it's not World War III you know ! and i feel in my heart that at the end of the day Tonbridge will be there in the playoffs . Look out the rest of the Ryman Premier .
The post Main era has arrived and we are on our way to greater things under Tommy .
Well done the Team and fans who braved death and foul weather to get such a good result . Watch out when you come to Longmead Stadium .
So up yours you claret tossers. Anyway I had a good day £50.00 on Tonbridge leading at half time and draw at full time. Cheers.
Well done lads look forward to Tuesday night at home.
P.S. Who the hell is Potter ?

I was standing right by where all this abuse from the Chelmsford fans was going on and it was a disgrace. Even some of Chelmsford fans from where i was standing said it was disgraceful and said something about how that won't do our reputation any good. He's spot on.
Every Tonbridge player that left the pitch was spat on and verbally abused by Chelmsford scum fans that were standing literally less that a yard from our players. To our players credit they just carried on off into the dressing room.
Something needs to be done cause the Stewards certainly didnt do anything to stop it nor did they pull up the idiots that carried out such disgraceful actions.
Disgusted
