It would have helped,

Shame he only got 5 mins as I'm sure that the lad's got plenty of goals in him.

Thanks Danno!!!! Danno is highly respected as a player at Tonbridge and clearly has a great future ahead of him. As the saying goes, if you are good enough you are old enough! It will be interesting to see how Danno's first team career progresses. He will always score goals, and there are a number of other under 18's who I am sure will be pressing soon for the same opportunities.

I am sure the new Manager (whoever it maybe), will be delighted to see the players that can push on both from the reserves and the under 18's.

Good luck to the 18's at Leatherhead tonite.  Afro

yes
i have heard from a player
that dolby had little time for the reserves and youth
i don't know how true that was, but the fact that he rarely gave any of them a chance is an indication that it may have been
hopefully now , some of our own players can progress
rather than players brought in with big reputations and attitudes Cool

Ashley has tremendous potential and a great future at the club, The good thing at the moment is that the caretaker team know the 18s and the ressies inside out and will know who can make the step up.
Bruno, Ashley made his first team debut last season against Gravesend and scored, I also believe he featured in a couple of games on the bench.
I have also been informed from a good source that Tony was a regular at the 18s games and worked very closely with Julian re the ressies.
Burning question, will Si and Julian still be around when the new appointment is made Huh?

Interesting, I know that Ashley had 30 mins and scored Angels 6th goal in the last Novembers KSC match where the Angels took Gravesend apart beating them 7-3.  However, if you read my post again you will see that I referred not to Ashley's first senior appearance for the Angels but his League debut.  I would not regard being on the bench as making a debut, for me that has to be actually taking to the pitch in the starting 11 or as a sub.

Since you seem to be so  well informed are Si and Julian considering a move elsewhere?
