An interesting piece on the FA website about prize money and how much money teams receive on TV and radio rights:

Fourth Round Qualifying winners (32) £10,000

First Round Proper Live Broadcast = £75,000
                                    Highlights = £13,000

Radio Fees (BBC 5 Live)
 
Full Match (90 mins)
 £9,000
 
Half Match (45 mins)
 £4,500
 
Quarter Match (24 mins)
 £2,250

In other words IF we progress to the first round then we will receive at least £23,000 (excluding gate receipts) as every team is shown on match of the day with the possibility of MUCH more should we draw a big team and get a 10,000 plus gate and a game live on the BBC!

All the is hypothetical of course but certainly something worth thinking about.

Re TV highlights: i was told last night that it depends on the number of minutes shown. up to a point they do not have to pay anything
