Left back -yes it starts with an H
« on: Saturday, 01 September, 2007, 18:06.41 »

and ends usnu not eath. Poor old Kurt must be gutted being left on the bench while Heathy is playing like a donkey. Was very poor today and cost us the first two goals.

Also [u][allegedly/u] Heathy was seen in SOS last Sunday night just before the Hastings game. If true thats pretty disspaointing that a smei pro would be partying and drinking before an important game.

Heathy was poor today, certainly partly at fault for their first goal (think Reedy could've done better also) and think he's been struggling this season. I'd certainly like to see Kurt start on Tuesday evening. Smiley

Heath was the MOM for me in the Hastings game. I agree he had a nightmare yesterday against the Gate maybe he should have gone clubbing Friday night!

I feel another "rant" coming on.

Come on, any supporter who knows diddly squat about the game must be bemused as to why Kirk Husnu has not started at left back for the last two matches.
While Scott was not fit and Razor was suspended Heathy should have been used as a fill in because he is "normally" very dependable and can, if pressed, do a job on that side.
Leaving a quality left sided player out, IMHO, to use the modern day lingo, is a waste of talent that we,at this time, cannot afford.

Any comments?

Spot on Newrymaner2.

Husnu has excelled when called upon, and our attacks down the left have been most potent when pairing Husnu with Martin, without diminishing Kurt's defensive responsibilities.

As supporters we can only take things at face value but there seems to have been some strange tactical decisions made so far (Harper on the right yesterday being one of them) and we can only hope having Razor back on Tuesday night will give us some balance while allowing Kember back into the midfield, presumably at the expense of Storey who seems to need to acquire a bit more *hunger* before pulling on the shirt.
