Normally i'd say whats the point in signing another midfield/forward player but as its Hamid i'm delighted. If some of you "newer" fans haven't seen him play before you will be treated to some moments of magic this season.

Just looking at the team again. Hamid will play in a free role off either 1 or 2 strikers so my guess would be

----------------Reed
Gooding Beales Aris Lovell
----Kember Storey Kinch
----------------Barr
------------Razor Main

or

----------------Reed
Razor Beales Aris Lovell
Gooding Kember Storey Logan
----------------Barr
--------------- Main

Really hard to call but it means 1 or 2 familiar faces aren't going to be regulars. I can see 1 or 2 leaving before the season starts possibly.

What about Hamid right wing? If so, our midfield could look something like this:- Barr-Storey-Kember-Logan. Mouthwatering or what?! Cheesy

Dobla's probably got a headache at the minute, trying to select his strongest starting eleven, but it's a nice dilemma to have. Helps him that we have four players missing for the first few games of the season. Can't really see anyone being released until we have that period out of the way.

yep, you could play him there or anywhere across midfield or upfront but i always thought he was most effective if you gave him a free role to do what he wants. Can't see the likes of Barnes and Kinch getting much of a look in this season even thought they are class players. Shows how far we have come.

Good to see Barr back. Hope he's fit as he's had a difficult couple of seasons with injuries.
A nice headache for Dobla to have with team selection, though I think Barnes will leave at some point due to lack of opportunities.

We are going to need Kinch & Barnes come the winter when the pitches cut up.
We all know these two like a bit of physicality!
The opposition will be trying to kick lumps out of Hamid & Storey.
For all his brilliance Hamid has been known to go missing at times.

it all depends on how commited he is
and if his legs can do what his brain tells them
good news
until maidstone find out and try to nick him
