Gutted to lose a cup final but the best side won. The boys in no way disgraced themselves and did us proud!
For me, Bealesy's challenge was never a penalty, a stupid tackle yes, but you only had to look at the change of direction of the ball...Razor (my Man of the Match) pulled one back and had he slotted home Mainy's cut-back I reckon the outcome would've been different. We had them rattled! Thought Chimp also did well, missed him in the centre of midfield I thought.
Bromley...big physical side, played some good stuff at times. Still one of the best teams I've seen this season, if not the best. Walker continues to be a turd and was reported for incitement again (second time this season!). And where have all their fans appeared from?? Glory hunters. Classic chant..."Where were you when you were sh*te?"
Great crowd, 900+. Great atmosphere created by Angels too, second half I thought the Barmy Army were immense.

It was a great cup final between two good sides, well done to your travelling support it was good to see a very healthy away support down the lane.
Video Highlights from the game can be seen on BFCtv at www.bfctv.co.uk

The lads gave it a real good go and were the better side for the first 30 minutes. Chopper just missed with a header, and a few other nervy moments for Bromley. They missed a sitter just before half time (free header six yards out), but were lucky to go in at the break with a lead courtesy of a scandalous penalty award.
Bromley's threat came from the way they used their wide men, there was always one stuck out on the touchline in acres of space for the midfielders to find. All the Angels problems came from there, we never really got to grips with it the entire game.
Bromley defended solidly for the most part, Mainy was shackled quite well. Razor played his heart out as usual, who knows what might have been if he'd slotted home a golden chance to make it 3-2 with still over 30 mins to go.
Perhaps could have got Luke on a bit earlier than 75 mins - Fraser was having a stinker by his standards.
Good crowd and good game, plenty of action in both penalty areas. Have to say fair result in the end though, even if it was all started by a penalty that never should have been.

Not sure how you've come to that conclusion Gaz. I think the replay backs up our initial claim that it wasn't a pen. Sure, he's gone in hard but the ball was won in my opinion.
