Poor old Bert, loyal supporter of the club on the pitch. One of the 3 - 4 players from last season that actually 'tried' to keep the team up. Giving 100% every game.

So what, he has a couple of dodgy pre seasons, just two games into the league, being slagged off left right and center, but in every match has had more of a crack on goal than the 'strikers'!

Confidence has a large part to play. He must know the knives are out for him, if he reads this forum. Who better to slag off? Injury put him out last season, slow recovery - but he has been recovering. Blame him for the Club's down fall. Christ (oops i just blasphemed  Lips Sealed)

You'll be slagging Danny Lye off next......... Huh

Hey, why not slag Luke off for having a bad game...He scored the 2nd goal, and you still ain't satisfied.

How about looking as to where the credit is due?

Dobla, another goal scorer. Fair enough he will get enough yellow cards or a sending off sooner or later cos he can't keep his gob shut or his elbows to his side. But it won't matter cos he is the Manager after all. That should keep the other half happy as half of you/us wants him to concentrate on Managing/Or not, depending on who you are talking to!

But, touched on it earlier. STRIKERS.....

Reply, yes, i saw it thank you Pete.

'Try watching a game' Er...No thankyou. At least not a home one.  Wink And you are right. There is no loyalty in football, or whatever words alike you used to make your point.

No matter. A player comes, serves the club, and then is disposed of. It doesn't take much to work it out. They will be replaced by the next best thing. Which foot will the next one be lame in>

But we can all rest assured that as long as there are supporters such as yourself, it will never matter, cos it don't. Hey pass me the next best tissue, i'll wipe my nose on it and then throw it in the bin! There is always another kleenex to take it's place...

Bert, you did a good job. You deserve better  Smiley

Bert, you DID a good job.

'DID' being the operative word.
Think you summed it up perfectly in those few words, JM....... Smiley

I think you'll find the word is 'sycophant'.  idiot2

And if you're trying to suggest that I try to please someone in order to gain a personal advantage, you couldn't be more wrong. Next time I suggest you actually think before you speak and judge 'me and my mates.'  Wink
