A difficult away fixture played on a hard uneven pitch ended with the Angles losing 2-0. A goal in each half saw Bromley through although the game was evenly matched throughout. The first goal was harsh on the lads. A shot from outside the area took a wicked deflection off a defender and flew into the top corner giving the keeper no chance. In the second half there was sustained Angels pressure on the Bromley goal throughout but we just could not score. A Bromley breakaway saw us concede a corner. From that corner the ball fell to a Bromley player who smartly turned and fired into the net. A disappointing result from a game we deserved at least a point.
