The fortunate point we 'earned' today should not deflect from the dire performance offered by the side. Only Nick Barnes and Ray Powell could possibly be described as having good games with the others all below par, especially the front two. We have no invention or creativity and we need to solve these problems as soon as we can.

Leroy, Jon and Luke should not have been on the bench today.

I will leave other comments until later as too frustrated.  Wink

Not having seen the match......I always think (judging from the freindlies i've seen) Luke deserves and has earned his right as a starter  Angry. Leroy should get a go, but should be sub or subbed depending on his performance on the day.

I missed Danny Lye too  Tongue

I still would like to see a 4-3-3 formation:

JJ
Razor-Beales-Aris-Heath
Barnes-Parkes-Dobla
Piscina-Jay May-Leroy

Sorry but Bert had a truly awful game today.

If I was Jon Heath, I'd be bleeding frustrated.  knuppel2

the point is jane  a few seconds does NOT make up for 90 minutes of
awfulness. I lost count of the number of times Bert gave the ball away ....

heath should start ahead him plain and simple

Surely we are all past the regular post-match Slag Off Roser tired old routine. He was no worse than any other player on the field today and was certainly far better than Haughton (uninterested) or May, whose goal doesn't really let him off a bad performance. This was an inadequate display as a collective, from management downwards and fortunately it has come early enough that (I hope) the weak links can be identified and eliminated - asap if Sullivan is genuinely determined to win promotion as he stated in the media this week. Undecided We got lucky and we got a point but it's time to be realistic, wake up and see that this isn't just a one-off.
